Job; Software Engineer – London
My client is a leading provider of a patented technology which polices the web by distinguishing web robots from legitimate human website visitors. Their technology is increasingly in demand which has led to a rapid expansion in the size and profitability of the company; as such they now have an opening for a talented, entrepreneurial Software Engineer to join the team. Description:You will be responsible for designing, implementing, advancing and maintaining an efficient, scalable architecture to support the collection and analysis of tens of billions of web requests per month. The client is looking for someone ambitious who wants to push for fitting into a VP Engineering role, but probably hasn't had that role before i.e. someone ambitious who is pushing against the ceiling where they are now.
You will be reporting to the Chief Software Architect, and will likely have a number of years of experience, and be able to start contributing immediately.
You will have to be of top calibre, someone who will be an obvious candidate for the financial services, but who would rather work on cutting edge technology in a small start-up where you can make a big difference, rather than being a small cog in a big bank.
Essential; candidate/s must have the following attributes:- A graduate degree in computing - Object-Oriented: Java, C++ - Python
Salary; Fully DOE up to approx £50k (let’s still speak if you like the role but need a few more £’s)
Location; Westminster, Central LondonHow to get there; 6 minutes’ walk from Covent Garden (on the Piccadilly Line) or 7 minutes’ walk from Temple Tube Station (on the Circle and District Lines).
